    Overall the phones were not as good as I expected the speech volume could be better. I have replaced a set of phones that I have had for five years and the replacement phones are very much the same.

    One of the phones was not as good as the rest when we receive a call.

    They have a good standby mode that saves the battery life.

    Overall just OK, I did like Ride of the Valkyries tune.

    Bought these to replace ageing BT ones. They are very nice to use and easy to set up etc.

    Only niggle is that when you edit a number on one handset it doesn’t automatically replicate around the other phones. You have to send it. And when you do send it, you end up with two entries for the same person on each phone. So you then have to go to the other phones and work out which one to delete. I sometimes wonder if they ever test these things on real people, in real life before releasing the final products.

    They are really easy to setup and use. The answerphone has in built greeting message and screening is turned on by default. My last set was BT Diverse 6450 and the menu system on them is a nightmare compared to the Panasonic. The proof in the pudding though is how long the batteries will last as they are NIMh. Has LiON technology hit the home phone market yet.

    The telephone system works well and looks good. Unfortunately the choice of ring tones range from mildly annoying to hugely annoying, If I had known what the ring tones were first I would have bought a different system.

    Have had these phones for about a month now. Very happy so far. Definitely an improvement on the BT ones we had before. Nice, large, clear screen. I like the joystick option too. Find it easy to use. Telephone numbers come up clearly on the large screen so you can check who’s calling before you pick up (if you have caller ID). With our BT one, the screen was much smaller and you had to be very near the phone to check the number.
