I purchased this table thinking it looked really nice, sturdy and would match my other furniture nicely. However, upon arrival, one piece was wrongly put together by manufacturers, the top piece had a noticable chip in the wood, and a side panel had a large crack in (which appeared to have been stuck back together). I phoned Watsons on the Web to arrange replacement and they were extremely helpful and arranged another to be sent to me at no extra cost and allowed me to dispose of the faulty table. Second table arrived and again, had a manufacturing fault where a piece of wood had snapped off and could not be fixed back as the screws wouldn't bite. I phoned again (today in fact) and was offered either a replacement or refund, I again requested a replacement as I really would like this table! Hopefully if this one arrives, I can use all the good parts from the 3 tables and make the perfect table. If this one arrives damaged, however, I think we will have to request a refund! Though the first one does look good assembled, it just has the chips, crack and faulty part. Overall, excellent service from Watsons, just a shame about the quality of some pieces so far.

I was pleasantly surprised when I bought this table - good value for £35, solid table that won't come apart in your hands. Looks good and appears quite durable as well. Only improvements would have been an email to say it had been sent. Assembly was fine - instructions were the usual for flat pack furniture.

I have been unfortunate enough to self-assemble lots of furniture. However this one was a hell of a ball ache. Instructions not detailed enough, and lots of screws and locks didnt fit well together. End result was a 3 hour battle and an abundance of obsenities.

The end product looks good and stylish though.
