this mans voice and lyrics are just incredible
this old men will be greatly missed when gone
and they say rock and roll will never die !! ill bet my last buck it does within the next 10-15 years you cannot replace tthese guys be it u2 greenday or who ever they cannot be replace NEVER!!!!
Exactly. Granted this wasn’t the original lineup but why should anyone really care? These shows proved the genius of Jeff Lynne and that the songs he wrote will stand on there own regardless of who is in the band. I happen to think this lineup of backing musicians were fantastic but if he did a tour just sitting on a stool with an acoustic guitar by himself singing these songs I’d be there.
no, it’s not just you. 21 guns sounds exactly like this. just like “enemy” by green day sounds just like the “we have a remedy” part of “a quick one while he’s away” by the Who.
Yes its glossy and tight! but really this aint ELO! Its the Jeff Lynne band featuring Richard Tandy , and I dont want to start the old Lynne versus Former members argument! But consider this? had The classic lineup reunited with some decent promotion These concerts would have been the highlight of 2001
I feel so blessed to have lived thru the era where they were the group to listen to! Simply the best group from that time… and this song… is by far my most favorite ever!
Well done ELO…this song was the very first 45 I ever owned…
SO DID ELVIS LOL

is it just me or does this sound like 21 guns by green day?
Débile
Even his singing voice has a very George Harrison quality. Great performance.
His ‘thankyou very much’ sounds like a Beatle
Jeff is ELO. End of story.
This is a very cool video. I love this song and it’s done very well. ELO is a great band.
basically what I meant

At one time I thought they were successors to the Beatles. Still a beautiful sound. They did stand the test of time.
hello how are you!
The music has stood the test of time. Saw ELO The Orchestra at Croydon this week and they were stupendous!
Fantastic performance
