Have been using Paragon 500 and been completely satisified. Bought paragon 650 to replace another phone assuming it would be as good as if not better than the 500. Big assumption!! The 650 is complicated. The display is limited in what it shows you at a glance and you have to go looking for information previously displayed on the 500 when looking at incoming calls. The ringtones are terrible; so boring and embarrassing. Think twice before buying. Whoever designed it needs to consider a new career.
We recently bought this phone, and were appalled by the ringtone. But the main problem is an intermittent loud hum on the line. We have turned off everything we can think of that might be interfering with it, with no success. Can anyone suggest what could be causing it. (We do not have a computer on this line.)

BT have a real nerve letting such a badly designed and conceived product on the market.
On the plus side, the answerphone works well and it takes a SIM card, everything else is an ergonomic nightmare. The phone rings 5 seconds after any other phone, the number search is hopelessly slow, the screen backlights for too short a time to be properly useful, recall button doesn’t work properly, choice of ringtones would be hilarious if they weren’t so awful. I could go on. Mine’s going on eBay tomorrow.

I bought this and then sent it back. The handsfree sound is awful and I spent most calls picking up the reciever – which defeated the excact reason why I bought the phone. The incoming sound drifts in and out, and people at the other end missed the first second of everything i said. The helpline said reset the settings. I did this but the problem reamined. Other than that the phone is good quality, but it did not do what I bought it to do.

I should have looked at the reviews before I bought it. I would go as far to say this is the worst answer machine I have ever purchased.
The phonebook is extremely slow it is far quicker just to dial the number.
On occasions when you put your initial in on phonebook it completely ignores the initial and goes to ‘A’.
The ringtones are ridiculous, not very loud we often miss calls because the phone is in the kitchen.
The sound is on high but it is very quiet and there is a dreadful humming on the line which is not there when we plug other phones in.
I have started to look for a better one.
Always bought BT phones but must admit this is a thumbs down from me.
