    nice phone package for the money, two phones with answering machine facility but i was very disappointed with the volume. terrible sound. would not recommend to anyone.

    Bought this to replace the Binatone two phone cordless phone we had, where the batteries were reaching the end of their days and the phones were small and not easy to use, and a seperate BT answer phone. The new phones are great in that they have large buttons (we are in our late 60′s and this becomes important), speakers (same argument) and ‘handy’ to use. The disappointment is the answerphone, it doesn’t have ’1471′ which collects the number of the caller (useful if it isn’t clear and also some people don’t like leaving a message), doesn’t show how many messages, and is generally more ‘finicky’ to use. May just be diferent, but assumed all BT answer phones would have same facilities!
