This is an obscure recording of Tim Armstrong playing a song onto an answering machine? It is an unlisted track on the Very Small World compilation from Very Small Records 1991. I say obscure because I've never come across any reveiws or articles that discussed Armstong being the main attrction on this record. The Very Small World comp is better known for Downfall's debut, New Rgulation, among other goodies. Armstrong is featured on a third track, Brew Crew by Special Forces, playing bass. In The band photo of Special Forces Armstrong is displayed with the Generator logo on his hat, another Armstrong-Freeman act that performed between Op Iv and Downfall. This album has Tim's name written all over it, or do I mean Lint, "the king of ska"? the chorus goes... "Are you Gonna Be There When The Storm Comes?" just like the Downfall song, "The Storm"
